We are a small family business and only able to offer six rooms on the property. Each room counts for us; we appreciate your understanding of the policies below. It is advisable to make your reservations as early as possible to secure your space. Upon initial inquiry a pre-reservation is made and will be held for 48 hrs. Your reservation is secure and guaranteed once we receive your deposit payment and intake form. Prices do not include airfare and we strongly urge you to confirm availability prior to purchasing your airline ticket. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards are accepted.
Deposits & Payments
After your initial inquiry for availability via email/phone a $700 non refundable deposit is required to secure each room for the reservation. This deposit is collected at the time of placing the reservation. Please refer to cancellation policy for any changes or cancellations. After payment has been received you will be confirmed by email and via phone. The guest’s remaining balance is to be paid no later than 60 days prior to departure date and is non-refundable beyond that time. Any additional information necessary prior to your departure will be e-mailed to you. We will call the week you depart to go over any questions/details about your trip.
Travel and Flight Policies
Please book your flights to and from airports (LIR or SJO) Ground Transportation will be provided to you upon arrival and departure. If you miss the transportation that is provided for you for any reason including flight delays, earlier or later departure, etc… ground transportation via shuttle or taxi will be at your own expense. Final booking of your flight is not required before your registration.
Cancellation Policy
We do not offer cash or credit card refunds — no exceptions. So please make sure you are committed to the trip before booking. For cancellations 60 days prior to your reservation date, we will transfer your deposit payment of $700 for a future trip. We want you to come on our trip; we will work with you to make it happen. If you cancel your reservation after 60 days prior to your trip and we can sell your room, you can use all the money paid towards a future trip. If we are not able to resell your room, your deposit payment of $700 will be forfeited; the remaining balance can be used towards a future trip. Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason whatsoever, including personal injuries, illness, political upheaval, natural disasters, emergencies, weather or any other occurrences. If we cancel your stay due to reasons beyond our control, we are not liable for any refunds or travel costs. Corky Carroll’s Surf School is not held responsible for expenses in preparation for any canceled trips due to flight cancellation, car rental, loss of work, or loss of travel delays. If you need to depart your trip early for any reason, there are no refunds provided.
